CORONATION BEACH CAMPGROUND

Public BBQ

Coronation Beach Campground proves that sometimes the best discoveries come with the least fuss. Tucked along Western Australia's coast, this unpretentious gem operates on refreshingly simple principles: rock up, tap your card at the payment machine for twenty dollars, and claim your patch of paradise. The beachfront sites offer front-row seats to spectacular sunsets, while kitesurfers slice through the waves like colourful exclamation marks against the horizon. Basic facilities include well-maintained drop toilets and covered eating areas, though you'll need to bring your own water and power - a small price for such proximity to pristine coastline. The weekend food caravan adds unexpected convenience, and the resident kite school ensures there's always entertainment. Phone reception might be patchy, but that's rather the point at this delightfully unplugged retreat where the biggest decision is whether to fish, surf, or simply watch the world sail by.
